This is a very "debatetable" question.....I think it varies from individual to individual.
Some treat lottery as a "challenge"...beating the odds of striking is itself "an achievement" regardless of the amount you strike.
I belong to this category.
Some depend on lottery for a living....and this is very "dangerous"as it can drag you into financial difficulties..
Anything done in "excess" is bad....eating,drinking,smoking and gambling.
Playing lottery nowadays, is very "tricky". One need to be very disciplined, analytical, observant, possess good memory, good intuition and patience.
Playing lottery is like managing "a business"....you must have:
Game plan.... try not to punt every lottery day....play only during
your lucky day/lucky period
Budget.....stick to your budget and do not go overboard.
Discipline....limit your bets to only one counter.
Punt smart.... Keep track of "podium numbers" and follow them..it is proven that the "repeat ratio" of podium numbers is very high...roughly around 78%
Be tactical...always cover a bit on "box" to recover..hitting direct is almost imposssible.
I have been playing 4D for a long time and I am still enjoying the game...:O)
