So we are in the same boat....playing Singapore Pools...In fact I am a regular 4D player....but more on IBets (even though the return is smaller, however,my chances are more realistic) Playing direct needs a lot of LUCK...your odds is 1 is to 10,000....its like looking for a needle in a haystack. Occasionally when I feel lucky, I may venture to play direct with a maximum bet of 2 dollars.. I am not too much into TOTO cause the odds are worse...perhaps a couple of dollars on quick pick whenever I feel lucky.. You mentioned about 11...22...33 Well in numerology you always reduce it to a single digit....so 11 is actualiy 1+1 = 2 and so forth....so your 11 becomes 2 , 22 becomes 4 and 33 becomes 6 So remember if you are playing 4D with 12 permutations (AABC) , you will be lucky with series 11 and 22 cause the single digits are 2 and 4 which are your lucky nimbers.
